Learn To Push 2017-18

Learn To Push at Canada Olympic Park. As part of our recruitment efforts we offer to prospective athletes the opportunity to push a real sled on real ice!
Summer Ice House training starts mid-June with the "Learn to Push"program.

Specific LTP dates are currently set for June 27th, 6pm and July 11th, 6pm. We will add more specific dates as required however they are usually conducted twice monthly in our regular Tuesday 6-8pm and/or Saturday 2-4pm sessions. If you are interested in trying the sport, start with a Learn To Push, please RSVP prior so we can ensure you have all the info.

Learn To Push dates are set aside for new athletes, to learn as a group. If you have your own group or can't make one of our dates, please contact us and we will try to fit you into our regular Tuesdays and Saturday training sessions.
Beginners are coached by our Provincial team coaches. You will learn the techniques required for a strong fast start. Developing your skills as you too sprint down the ice, leap on your sled and cross the finish line in just a short time.
The Learn To Push is FREE, as these sessions are the main recruitment tool that ASA uses to invite athletes to the skeleton school held at the beginning of the sliding season.
Regular twice weekly Ice house training sessions take place each Tuesday 6-8pm and Saturdays 2-4pm. After completing a Learn To Push you are encouraged to join our weekly sessions for just $100 for the remainder of the year.
All equipment is provided, No experience necessary.
Family and Friends are welcome to come watch. You must be at least 13 years old to participate - All participants are required to sign a waiver of liability (Sliders under 18 years of age require a signature from a parent/legal guardian) Please RSVP to info@albertaskeleton.ca for the date you wish to attend.
