Annual ASA Push Competition

All entrants must have completed sign-up for the race. Any late enteries will be placed at the bottom of the order for there class.

The race rules and protocol are based upon current FIBT Skeleton rules; all applicable rules will be followed in accordance with the event rules and outlined by the Jury President.

General Rules
Only those with a valid ASA License (track or Ice House) may slide.
The Guest class Shall follow the same protocol however it will be a separate race.
The race will consist of Three heats. The winner is determined by the combined time of these Three heats.
Forerunners will be determined by the Jury.
The Ice will be swept at the block between each slider.
The athlete may accelerate the sled by pushing.
The sled will be ridden, by the athlete, back to the finish block immediately following the run.
All sleds for each competitor will be considered equal by the Jury.
Temperature of the runners and the Ice will be taken prior to each heat.

Legal spikes
Legal Clothing (You do not have to wear your race suit, however FIBT rule 8.6.1 "Track or race suits with short trousers or short sleeves are not permitted…", for safety you need your skin covered same as on the track)
Gloves are recommended but not required.
Sleds will be supplied by ASA. One sled for Men at 33kg, approx. One sled for Women at 29kg, approx. and One sled for the Masters class at 33kg, approx.
